(MOSCOW) MosFilms, Russia’s oldest and most successful film studio, has agreed to co-produce an epic Russian-American World War II love story created by a historic collaboration between American author, M.G. Crisci, (mgcrisci.wpengine.com), a man with no Russian ancestry, and an award-winning Russian writer/producer/director, Vladimir Alenikov(alenikov.com).

The movie, The White Lily (thewhitelily.net), inspired by real facts, celebrates the life, loves and times, of the world’s first and most
successful female fighter pilot—Russian teenager, Lidia Litvyak (1941-1943), who disappeared during a dog fight over Eastern Ukraine 70
years ago.
