Papa Cado’s Mailbox – Question 7
Ever hear people say you have a peculiar way of describing things?
I never really thought much about the way I communicate verbally until my friend Matt said I spoke in “Arthur-speak.” I asked him, “what the hell is Arthur-speak?” He tells me, “it’s a lot and not like a lot of things. It’s a rare form of dignified double talk.” I decided I didn’t want to debate him because I’m not big on direct conflict, and I’ve read a few of his other books. Talk about double talk! I decided to take the high road, “Matt, can’t say I know anything about that. I’m just a Cadillac car salesman by day and a machine-bucking-bronco cowboy at night. And, the women patrons think I’m cool.”
Read Papa Cado by M.G. Crisci – God selected a humble, ordinary man named Arthur Mercado—known merely as Papa Cado by his four granddaughters—to take an extraordinary roller-coaster ride through a life filled with “little” tests.
