Tech giant Apple, decides to become “Big Brother”

Refuses to stock critically-acclaimed, witty new satire called Donny and Vladdy.
Amazon Books disagrees.

God knows we live in controversial times!

 There has been a lot of back and forth about the liberally-biased media (The New York Times, CNN et al) shaping the narrative as they see fit.  And, major social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook et al) controlling what is and isn’t posted.

Well now you can add Apple CEO, Tim Cook, and this Band of Biased Brothers, to the list of free speech police.  Clearly, some member(s) of Apple Book Store review team glanced at the cover, and thought it was a SERIOUS pro-Trump, pro-Putin statement. Then sent my publisher a note, the book “was declined” for distribution in their store, which h by the way, carries some really tacky stuff.

Guess the Apple folks missed the exaggerated cartoon with missile and military hardware on the cover and the outrageous tagline “Politically Incorrect, Curiously Candid Conversations Between the World’s Two Most Controversial Leaders.”

And, if that was nuts enough, we parodied the North Korean dictator, Kim Jung-un, and China newly-minted Lifetime President, xi Jipung, giving five-star endorsements.

As you can gather, the LAST thing the book was intended to be was some pro-Trump, pro-Russian political diatribe.

Thank goodness one of America’s leading critical literary journals wasn’t hung up about politics. The Manhattan Book Review, gave Donny and Vladdy  4 ½ stars (out of five), calling it a witty, intelligent contemporary satire. If interested, here’s a link to the review.
