Teenage best friends, Peter, Vashkin, and Masha, convince Vashkin's father, a prominent Russian scientist, to let them join his team on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to Antarctica.

Shortly after a perilous landing on a snow covered peak, Masha is captured by a vicious army of angry giant flying five-million-year-old ants.

On the way to rescue Marsha, the boys wind their way though dark tunnels filled with punishment rooms where armies of enemy ants practice blood-thirsty prehistoric rituals.

As the heart pounding to rescue Marsha intensifies, the two boys devise a clever, hilarious escape plan that includes creative use of colorful, sugar-coated Tic Toc candies as their compass.
